Fire Station #65 – "Life is About Energy"

Description	:	Firefighters put out fires. Poets light fires of creativity, imagination and illumination. The public art for Watts incorporates 3 physical elements to describe these ideas: 1) Signage on the Fire Station: “Life is about energy. Wisdom is how you spend it.” 2) A colorful concrete entry patio representing a quilt 3) Glass block walls etched on the inside and the outside with Watts Prophets’ poetry about energy and community
