A Journey In Time: Part 2
Presented by Art Meets Architecture
This is the second time that Dean and Laura Larson have come together in a collaborative photography exhibit at the historic Fine Arts Building. In this iteration of a Journey In Time: Part 2, the Larson’s have merged their photographic vision – fully collaborating on each image. The journey itself continues to reference French culture but shifts the emphasis to America via our own cultural institutions. All the while these animal/human hybrid creatures (Mourners) continue to journey through time. Their concern is for the future of animal life on our planet. The Mourners continue to gather and confer, stopping at various locations to assess our progress. There seems to be more of a sense of urgency now. The culmination of this year's story in pictures is the formation of the Council of the Fluid Age, consisting of an ambassador from each of the seven continents, advocating for all species – including the human kind.
